Pistachio Protein Packed Smoothie

The Dubai chocolate craze has brought pistachios back into my life in a whole new perspective. It’s not only a nut to snack on β€” it’s an ingredient that could be used in a mix of sweet or savory sips and treats. As I was researching pistachios, I learned that they contain a significant amount of protein! Did you know that?

If you’re looking for an ingredient to replace your protein powder, pistachios could be it! ~ 1 cup of pistachios contains ~ 25 grams of protein! 🀯

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C shelled pistachios

  • 1/3 C dried dates

  • 1/2 C whole Milk

  • 1/4 C vanilla greek yogurt

  • 1 Tbsp honey (I like using a multi-flora honey)

  • 1/2 Medium banana

  • 1/2 C spinach

  • 1 Tsp maple cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Take out your handy dandy blender

    and toss in all ingredients listed.

  2. Blend until fully combined.

  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
